What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to recognise your device and remember information about your visit, such as your login state or preferences. We also use browser local storage, a related technology that stores small amounts of data directly in your browser rather than sending it back to a server on every request.
Categories of Cookies We Use
Strictly Necessary
These are required for the Service to function and cannot be switched off. They include:
- Authentication cookies — keep you signed in to your account (managed via Supabase Auth)
- Session cookies — maintain your session state as you navigate the platform
- Security cookies — help detect and prevent fraudulent use of the Service
Functional (Local Storage)
These store your preferences locally in your browser so the platform remembers your choices between visits. This data does not leave your device and is not accessible to us as a cookie on our servers. It includes:
- Your persona selection (e.g. individual investor, wealth manager) used to personalise suggested content
- Your watchlist of starred protocols and projects
- Whether you have seen the first-visit welcome banner
- Dashboard and display preferences
Analytics
We may use privacy-conscious analytics to understand aggregate usage patterns — which pages and features are used, how often, and for how long — so we can improve the Service. Where used, analytics data is aggregated and does not identify you individually to us for marketing purposes.
What We Do Not Use
We do not use third-party advertising cookies, cross-site tracking cookies, or social media tracking pixels. CLEARFi Intelligence™ does not display third-party advertising, so there is no advertising cookie category to manage.
Third-Party Cookies
A small number of cookies are set by the third-party infrastructure providers that power the Service, rather than by CLEARFi directly:
- Supabase — authentication and session cookies necessary to keep you signed in
- Stripe — cookies used during the checkout process to securely process payment and prevent fraud
- Cloudflare — security and performance cookies used to protect the platform from abuse
Each of these providers has its own privacy and cookie practices, which you can review on their respective websites.
How to Control Cookies
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:
- See what cookies are stored and delete them individually
- Block third-party cookies
- Block cookies from specific sites
- Block all cookies
- Delete all cookies when you close your browser
Please note that blocking strictly necessary cookies (such as authentication cookies) will prevent you from signing in and using the core features of CLEARFi Intelligence™. You can also clear your browser's local storage to reset functional preferences such as your watchlist and persona selection.

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time as our use of cookies and similar technologies evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
